Spill Vase, circa 1850 Mid-nineteenth century English Staffordshire pottery spill-vase. A figure group in polychrome comprised of a hollow tree with a goat laying at its base and a rail fence with a man leaning against it. The group is highlighted with bocage on the base as well as on the tree trunk. |
