Reverse print on eglomise glass, "Hope," unsigned, circa 1810. The allegorical figure of "Hope" in a lemon gold frame with a black and gold eglomise mat. The classically garbed woman has long hair falling to her shoulders, her left hand pointing to a ship in the distance behind her, and her right elbow resting on an anchor. American.
