Jug, circa 1815 American ovoid jug with brown, mottled salt-glaze, incised/stamped with a "Z" on front shoulder area. The jug has a flat circular base, ovoid body, narrow cylindrical neck with five incised bands and an applied loop hanlde at junction of neck and shoulder. Probably made in Charlestown, MA. |
