Description |
Inkstand, circa 1815 Early nineteenth century English lathe-turned pewter ink stand. The stand has a circular footed base, cylindrical inwardly canting main body with twelve incised bands, and a recessed top. The top has a large medial circular opening which holds the white glazed pottery well. The well is surrounded by six small circular openings that house the quills. |
