Hoop skirt, A mid to late 19th century hoop skirt with wire hoops covered with fabric, waistband is leather with metal clasps. Hoops covered in fabric, leather backing. The hoop is made of 30 concentric cloth-covered wire hoops held in place by 11 vertical linen stripes. The waistband is linen with leather buckles. |
