Wedding Dress, 1905 A white silk wedding dress with underslip, worn by Sarah Lillian Arey Haywood on October 25, 1905, when married at The House of the Seven Gables. The wedding took place in the "ballroom" of the Gables, then the home of the bride. She was the granddaughter of Henry and Elizabeth Upton, owners of the Turner Ingersoll Mansion. |
