Set of Plates, circa 1800 A set of nine Chinese export porcelain blue and white plates in the Canton pattern, A circular footed bottom, stepped sides, and a plain rim. The decorations consist of a gold band on rim, a banded and gadrooned border, a banded border at the well, and a central river scene with a bridge, boats, islands, trees, and pagoda roof structures. |
