Description |
Towel Rack, circa 1880 A circa 1880 American painted oak towel rack with spool and bamboo turnings. The two inverted T-shaped legs rest on four ball feet. There are five bamboo turned rods between the two cruci form sides. One at the base, one midway and one at each arm of the cross. Each branch of the cross terminates with an ovoid turning capped with a circular five channeled brass tack. The end of the legs have the same turnings but no brass tacks. |
