Description |
Betty or crusie lamp, 18th century. A hinging wrought iron eighteenth century betty or crusie lamp. The lamp has a shallow open rounded bowl with a narrow integral upwardly slanting wick support. The integral single curved upright handle attached to the back of the reservoir has an applied hook and spike for hanging. The pan is an oil reservoir, with the indentation or channel to hold the wick. |
