Drawing, Helen Elizabeth Arey and Sarah Lillian Arey, circa 1890 A framed double half-length portrait of two young girls. Both children have shoulder length hair with curls at the shoulder and straight bangs at the forehead. They wear long sleeved white dresses with high lace collars. The younger child Helen has an applied bow on her right shoulder, The girls facing left are positioned very close to each other. Helen and Sarah Arey were decendants of the Upton family, the last private owners of the Turner Ingersoll Mansion. |
